the san antonio adfed is pleased to announce the availability
of scholarships for students pursuing a career in the advertising industry or related marketing/communications fields. awards are subject to the discretion of the scholarship screening committee and will be based on achievement in overall academic excellence, community service contributions and general financial need. the objective of the annual scholarship program is to aid and assist outstanding students in the san antonio area who are pursuing a career in the advertising industry or related marketing / communications fields, foster the
development of increased professionalism in the adverting / communications industry by encouraging outstanding students to pursue higher levels of training and encourage the involvement of all persons in the advertising / communications fields. each student applying for the scholarship must be enrolled in undergraduate studies and have successfully completed at least 24 semester credit hours at one of the accredited two- or four-year “member schools” in the san antonio area, have at least a 2.5 overall gpa and anticipate graduation no sooner than december 2007. the winning recipients will be announced and recognized during the 2007 addy awards show. the selection committee will consider only complete applications received from eligible students by 5 pm on december 15, 2006. one current copy of the student’s transcript(s) of college/university level class work must be enclosed with the application and mailed or faxed to:

performance in academics, extra-curricular activities, advertising related job
experience, general financial need, community service involvement and other activities that reflect commitment,
seriousness and purpose to said career objectives.
